Homemade Cheesy Chicken Casserole
- 4 large chicken breasts
- Two 10 3/4 ounce cans Cream of Chicken soup
- 1 empty soup can of water
- 8 ounce block mild cheddar cheese (grated)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 sleeves of Ritz crackers
- Butter
- Ground black pepper
- Mrs. Dash
- -Boil chicken 45 minutes.
- -Drain chicken and shred into small pieces.
- -Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- -Add soup, grated cheese, water, mayonnaise, milk, black pepper, and Mrs. Dash in large mixing bowl.
- -Grease bottom and sides of 9X13 casserole dish with butter.
- -Lay shredded chicken in bottom of dish.
- -Pour mixture over chicken.
- -Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
- -In separate bowl crush 2 sleeves of crackers, melt butter and pour over crackers.
- -Pour cracker topping over casserole after 30 minutes.
- -Place back in oven for an additional 10 minutes.
