Easy German Apple Pancakes

  1. Preheat oven to 425F
  2. Batter
  3. With plastic knife in food processor, blend first five ingredients 6 on/off turns.
  4. With machine running add milk gradually. Add vanilla, butter and nutmeg for 3 on/off turns.
  5. Let stand 30 min or overnight
  6. Fruit
  7. With the serrated slicer, slice apples.
  8. Brush oven proof skillet with melted butter, sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  9. Spread apples into pan. Add remaining 1/4 cup sugar. Place over medium high heat until mixture boils.
  10. Pour batter over apples
  11. Bake 425 F for 15 minutes then 375F for 10 min
  12. Serve with maple syrup or powdered sugar.
