Spinach Swirl Turkey Loaf
- 1 pkg. lean ground turkey
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg white, slightly beaten
- 3/4 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 pkg. frozen, chopped spinach
- 1/4 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Spray a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- In small bowl, blend tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
- In medium bowl, combine turkey, bread crumbs, onion, egg white, oregano and tomato sauce (reserve 1/3 cup tomato sauce); mix well.
- On foil, form turkey mixture into a 12 x 8-inch rectangle.
- Spoon spinach on turkey mixture.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Roll up tightly, starting at short end.
- Place in pan, seam side down.
- Press to seal edges.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 55 to 65 minutes or until turkey is browned.
- Spoon remaining sauce over loaf.
- Bake 5 minutes more.
- Let stand 10 minutes.
