Baked Eggs With Sage
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 tbsp of butter or ghee (clarified butter)
- 3 tbsp of milk
- 1 tbsp fresh cream
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- few leaves of sage, shredded
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- chives chopped (optional)
- Salt & pepper
- 1- Heat the oven to 200 C, Line a casserole dish with butter or ghee
- 2- Place shredded sage and bell pepper at the base of the casserole dish
- 3- Crack the eggs on top of them
- 4- Add the milk, fresh cream, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt & pepper
- 5- Sprinkle the top with freshly ground nutmeg and chives in case of using it
- 6- Place in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes on 200 C oven
