Pretzel Jello

  1. Crust:
  2. 2 C crushed pretzels, not too fine
  3. 3 T sugar
  4. 3/4 C melted margarine
  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes in a 13 x 9 inch pan. Don't overbake crust, does not change appearance, Cool 2 hours.
  6. Filling:
  7. 8 ounces cream cheese
  8. 1 C sugar
  9. 9 oz. Cool whip
  10. Spread on cool crust.
  11. Top Layer:
  12. 6 oz. Large box strawberry jello
  13. 1 20 oz. Package frozen strawberries
  14. 2 C boiling water
  15. Stir until berries soften and jello thickens. Pour over and refrigerate.
