Country Crock Holiday Cookies
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 c. Country Crock stick or tub
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- In a large bowl, cream Country Crock with sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Beat in dry ingredients just until well combined.
- Cover dough and chill 3 hours.
- Divide dough in half. Roll out 1/8-inch thick on a well-floured surface, cut with cookie cutter, place 2-inches apart on greased baking sheets.
- Repeat with remaining dough.
- Bake in a preheated 375u0b0 oven 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
- Remove and cool on wire racks. Yields 5 dozen (2-inch) cookies.
