Thai-Style Ginger Pork Meatballs With Coconut Lime Sauce
- 2 pounds lean ground pork
- 2 tablespoons grated ginger
- 3 minced teaspoons garlic
- 2 trimmed & minced sticks scallions
- 1 teaspoon Fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 or more teaspoons chili pepper flakes
- mix the pork, ginger, garlic & scallions together in lg bowl with your hands until thoroughly combined. Mix in the fish sauce, soy sauce, white pepper & 1 tsp sesame oil. Knead together very well. Form into balls roughly the size of a golf ball.
