Honey Pass Me The Bbq Beans

  1. 1. In a large saucepan, heat oil. Add onions and saute until tender, about 10 minutes.
  2. 2. Add remaining ingredients except for the cooked bacon and the red onion. Bring the beans to a simmer. Simmer over low heat for 30-40 minutes until thick. Remove bacon slice (if desired)
  3. 3. Serve hot, topped with chopped red onions and cooked bacon
