Nutty Tequila Tuna
- 1-2 Fresh Tuna Steaks
- 2 tablespoons Tequila
- 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 cup Hellman's mayonaise
- 1/4 cup Rondole cream cheese with herbs
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup broken cashews
- Rinse the tuna steak(s) and pat dry. Marinade in the tequila, soy sauce and garlic for 10-15 minutes.
- Mix the mayonaise, Rondole cream cheese, red chili flakes, pepper and thyme. Spread mixture on the top of the Tuna. Sprinkle the cashews on the mayonaise mixture and transfer the Tuna a pan appropriate for the barbecue or stovetop.
- Grill on barbecue or stove top on medium heat for approximately 10 minutes. Cover and cook for an additional five minutes or more to preference.
