Dale'S Famous Buffalo Wings
- 6 oz. Frank's Hot Sauce
- 1 stick of butter
- 2 Tbsp. White Vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. Celery Seed
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 cup Dark Rum (I use Capt. Morgan Dark Spiced Rum)
- 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- pinch of black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Worcester sauce
- 2-4 tsp Habanero hot sauce (to taste)
- 1/4 cup Maple syrup
- 15 Chicken wings (30 when separated)
- Mix all ingredients in sauce pan over low heat, avoid boiling. Heat till very hot.
- Cook chicken wings in deep fryer +/- 15 minutes depending on if you are using frozen or fresh. When skin is crispy and golden brown remove and let cool slightly. Place wings in large bowl and marinate with the prepared sauce for about 1/2 hour stirring occasionally if not all covered. Place in oven at 400 degrees for about 25 - 30 minutes to desired crispness. Serve with Blue cheese, celery and carrots. For the tailgate simply grill up the marinated wings on the grill for approximately 15 minutes on medium high heat.
