Supper-In-A-Skillet
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped onion
- 1 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 lb. shell or elbow macaroni, cooked, blanched and drained
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped celery
- 1 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 c. shredded pasteurized cheese
- Cook beef in oil until gray in color.
- Add onion and celery and cook until onion is soft.
- Add catsup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, mustard and oregano; mix well.
- Stir in macaroni and cover.
- Simmer to blend flavors, about 25 minutes.
- Just before serving, fold in cheese.
- Serve hot in the skillet.
