Ground Turkey Flatbread Sandwich Pockets
- 1 pkg. Alexis Greek Flatbread halved and toasted
- 1 lb. Ground Turkey
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 bundle Asparagus steamed
- 2 Roma Tomatoes diced
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup grated medium cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 2 tsp. cumin seed
- Cook ground turkey and onion over medium heat until browned. Add salt , pepper, and cumin seed. Meanwhile dice tomatoes, grate cheeses and place in separate bowls. Toast flatbread halves in toaster until slightly crisp outside (medium setting). After turkey and onion is browned, drain any excess fat and then drizzle with olive oil. Spoon meat mixture into the center pocket of the toasted flatbread halves. Top with cheeses and tomato. Then arrange asparagus on top with ends tucked in pockets. Top with salt and pepper to taste.
