Dry Rub Baby Back Ribs With Tangy Barbeque Sauce

  1. Ribs/Rub
  2. Combine all of the dry ingredients and mix well. Coat the front and the back of the ribs with the rub and let sit, covered at room temperature for 1/2 hour.
  3. Preheat grill to high - 450 degrees.
  4. Put the ribs on the grill bone side down and immediately lower the heat so the temperature is 250 degrees. Cook the ribs with the lid closed for 1 hour, turning once for the last 15 minutes of cooking.
  5. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. After an hour on the grill, put the ribs in the oven for one hour.
  6. Barbeque Sauce
  7. In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil and add diced onions and garlic. Cook until transparent.
  8. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve warm.
