Quick Taco Pie
- 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/4 oz. pkg. taco or chili seasoning mix
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/3 c. sliced stuffed green olives
- 1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 1 1/2 to 2 c. crushed corn chips
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. catsup
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/4 tsp. liquid hot pepper sauce
- Brown ground beef and drain.
- Stir in seasoning mix, water and olives.
- Simmer 5 minutes.
- Separate dough into 8 triangles. Place these in ungreased 9 or 10-inch pan, pressing to form a crust.
- Sprinkle 1 cup crushed corn chips over the bottom of crust.
- Spoon meat mixture over crust and corn chips.
- Spread sour cream over meat mix and cover with cheese.
- Sprinkle on remaining chips.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes until crust is golden brown.
- If desired, serve in wedges, topped with shredded lettuce and avocado slices.
- Yields 6 servings.
