Rosie'S Dads Easter Bunny Cookies
- 1/2 lb soft butter
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 6 eggs
- 2 Tbs vanilla
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 6 cups flour
- pinch salt
- M&M's for eyes
- 4 hard boiled colored eggs, cooled
- 1) Using dough hook
- Combine above ingredients except for the M&M's and Colored Eggs
- 2)Kneed on lightly floured board
- 3)Divide into 4 balls, take each ball and take about 1/4 off to make the bunnies head. Take the remainder and divide in half. One half is to be used as the bunnies body, the other is to be divided into 7 smaller balls and make the 2 feet, 2 hands, 2 ears. Also, make two ropes that will be used to hold the egg in place
- 4)On cookie sheet, form 4 pear shaped bunnies using the dough allocated for the body. Then make and attach the head, arms, leggs, ears. Wet the joints when attaching them to the body.
- 5)Press a colored hard boiled egg into the body area of the bunny, cover the egg with the last two pieces of dough that you role out to make the rope
- Have fun with the shapes and designs. Form them any way you like.
- 5) Press a colored egg into the body of the bunny, use the two pcs of rope dough to form a cross over the egg and attach to body.
- 6)Use the M&M's to make eyes and any other decoration you might like.
- 7)Bake at 350 for 20-25 min.
