Quick Green Beans

  1. Wash green beans leaving long just snap the plant end off. Then place beans in boiling water to blach about 3 minutes the put in ice cold water. When beans have cooled completely place on paper towel to dry or pat dry. In skilet put small amount of olive oil about 2 to 3 Tablespoons let get hot and put in beans, peppers, onions and cook stiring occasionally till tender crisp about 3 to 5 minutes. Then put some minced garlic in and cook about a minute longer then sprinkle well with kosher salt. This recipe is also good with just the green beans with out onions and peppers. My teanagers and I eat this as the main course while I prepare meat and potatoes for the rest of the family. Depending on size of family you have depends on the about of ingredients you use. Remember the bean do not swell or shrink while cooking.
