Super Summer Salad

  1. 1/3 cup salad oil 2 tbs. vinegar 1 tea. onion salt 1/4 tea. garlic powder 1/4 tea cracked pepper. Chill throughly
  2. One lge head iceberg lettuce.
  3. Place cut beans in lge skillet sprinkle lightly with salt cover boiling water cook 10 min. and peeled and sliced carrots and sliced potatoes sprinkle slightly with salt. Add more boiling water if necessary and cook 10 min.
  4. Add frozen peas and dusting of salt and cook 5 min. Check to see if all veg. are tender drain well. In a small bowl whisk salad oil vinegar onion salt garlic powder and pepper. Pour over veg. and refrigerate.
  5. Slice and coarsely chop lettuce arange on plates and make Russian Dressing;
  6. 1 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup catsup
  7. 2 tbs. vinegar 2 tbs. chooped chives 2 tbs. chopped pimiento 4 teas. prepared horseradish 1/2 teas. garlic. mix cover and refrigerate until needed.
