Stawberry Suprise Cake
- 1 package white (or yellow) cake mix
- 1 package french vanilla instant pudding & pie filling
- 1 small container frozen whipped topping
- 2 packages fresh strawberries (can use frozen but make sure when they are thawed there isn't a lot of juice.)
- 1/4 cup Splenda for baking (has splenda and sugar) or 1/2 cup regular sugar
- Prepare cake as directed bake in 13 X 9 inch pan, cool cake completely.
- Slice strawberries in 3 or 4 slices each, do not add liquid but do add in sugar. Put in refrigerator to set till you are ready to assemble cake.
- Prepare french vanilla instant pudding according to pie directions (1 3/4 cup milk instead of 2 cups.)
- Refrigerate to set.
- When cake is cool spread strawberries on top evenly then fold whipped topping with the french vanilla pudding and spread evenly on top of the berries as you would frosting. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
