Chocolate Coconut Slices

  1. Cream together margarine and sugar.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, to creamed mixture.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
  4. Sift together the flour and 1/4 cup cocoa.
  5. Add to creamed mixture; blend well. Stir walnuts into batter.
  6. Spread into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350u0b0 for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Combine milk and coconut; spread over hot cake and return to oven.
  8. Continue baking until coconut is lightly browned, about 15 to 20 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven.
