Dessert Ring Coffee Cake
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. dairy sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 c. sifted cake flour
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cocoa mix
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- Thoroughly cream butter or margarine and sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well.
- Fold in sour cream and vanilla.
- Sift together salt, baking powder and flour and fold into creamed mixture.
- Mix together last four ingredients.
- Spoon half of the batter into greased 9-inch tube pan.
- Sprinkle with half of nut mixture.
- Top with remaining batter and nut mixture.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
- Cool 20 minutes in pan before removing.
