Belgian White Ale Orange Cookies

  1. Add the beer and honey and cook it down to a thick syrup (about 1/3 c. liquid).
  2. Whisk together flour, spices, baking soda, and zest.
  3. After syrup has reduced and cooled, cream together the butter and sugars, then add in egg and vanilla.
  4. Stir in half of the dry ingredients, followed by the syrup, then the remaining dry ingredients. Lastly, mix in chocolate chips.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Rotate the cookies halfway through.
