Date Oat Molasses Scones

  1. 2 C flour
  2. 1/4 C brown sugar
  3. 1.5 t baking powder
  4. .5 t soda
  5. .25 t salt
  6. 1/2 C oats
  7. stir and cut in 3 T butter
  8. mix together
  9. 1/2 C buttermilk
  10. 3 T molasses
  11. 1/2 C fat free plain yogurt
  12. mix together
  13. add dates (a bit more than 1/2 C), cut up with kitchen shears
  14. pat into disc, cut into 12 wedges
  15. bake at 400 for 15 mintues
  16. about 170 cals each
