Date Oat Molasses Scones
- 2 C flour
- 1/4 C brown sugar
- 1.5 t baking powder
- .5 t soda
- .25 t salt
- 1/2 C oats
- stir and cut in 3 T butter
- mix together
- 1/2 C buttermilk
- 3 T molasses
- 1/2 C fat free plain yogurt
- mix together
- add dates (a bit more than 1/2 C), cut up with kitchen shears
- pat into disc, cut into 12 wedges
- bake at 400 for 15 mintues
- about 170 cals each
