American Purple Slaw

  1. Slice both cabbages into long, slim slivers and combine in a large bowl. Add slivered carrots, thinly-sliced onions, chopped cilantro, and jalapeno (if desired), mix veggies together.
  2. Make vinagrette -- in a small bowl add vinegar, garlic, and honey. Slowly wisk in olive oil; salt and pepper to taste. Pour over veggies. Finally, squeeze lime over the slaw to taste. You can eat right away or marinate.
