Spiced Pork Chops With Pear Relish

  1. Pear Relish: In saucepan, heat oil over medium heat; cook onion, ginger, cinnamon and cloves, stirring occasionally, until onions are softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in pear, raisins, 1/4 cup water, vinegar and sugar; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until pear is softened, about 15 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, stir together cumin, coriander, salt and pepper; rub all over chops. In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat; cook chops, turning once, until just a hint of pink remains inside, 10 to 12 minutes. Serve with relish.
