Sesame Chicken Kabobs
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. Chablis wine
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seed
- 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 4 chicken breast halves, skinned, deboned and cut in 1 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 small green bell pepper, quartered
- 1 medium onion, quartered
- 8 large mushroom caps
- 8 cherry tomatoes
- Combine vegetable oil, soy sauce, Chablis, corn syrup, sesame seed, lemon juice, garlic powder and ginger.
- Stir well.
- Add chicken and vegetables and chill for 2 hours.
- Drain chicken and reserve marinade.
- Alternate chicken and vegetable pieces on skewers, placing tomatoes on each end.
- Grill 6 inches from medium-hot coals 15 to 20 minutes, turning and basting often with marinade.
