Hearty Winter Minestrone

  1. Shape sausage into 3/4-inch meatballs or can brown ground beef and sausage.
  2. Stir meat often while browning in the oil.
  3. Spoon off all but 1 tablespoon drippings.
  4. Add vegetables.
  5. Cook 5 minutes, stirring often.
  6. Add broth, soups and water.
  7. Heat to boiling.
  8. Add pasta.
  9. Reduce heat to low.
  10. Simmer 10 minutes or until pasta is done, stirring occasionally.
  11. Makes about 6 cups or 4 servings.
  12. Recipe may be doubled.
