Gluten Free Shanghai Noodles
- 1/2 cup gluten free soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Zest and juice of half orange
- 1 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger,finely minced
- 1 lb pork tenderloin,thinly sliced
- 1 lb rice or corn noodles cooked according to the package instructions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 3 spring onions
- 1/2 head of big bok choy,thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 1/2 cornstarch
- 1 cup chicken stock
- Salt and pepper
- In a medium bowl mix soy sauce,honey,ginger,orange zest and orange juice, hoisin sauce,and add the sliced pork. Let it marinade for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat the wok or heavy frying pan in high heat,add the canola oil and fry the meat. Preserve the marinade aside. Let it cook,couple minutes. Remove the meat from the wok or pan and add the bok choy,green onion,garlic,sesame oil. Stir till the veggies are a little bit tender.
- Add the meat.
- In a small bowl,mix the cornstarch with the chicken stock.season it with salt and pepper and add the cooked noodles.
- Pour it in the wok or pan and stir quickly.
- Voila! Is ready to be served! You can garnish it with sesame.
