Chicken Crescent Squares
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 2 c. cubed, cooked chicken
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- tarragon
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. finely chopped pimento (optional)
- 1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
- 3/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs
- Blend together cream cheese and 2 tablespoons melted margarine. Add chicken, pepper, milk, onion, optional pimento and a sprinkle of tarragon.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles, sealing perforations.
- Place about 1/2 cup chicken mixture on each rectangle.
- Pull four corners of dough to center and seal.
- Brush tops with remaining margarine and dip into bread crumbs.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Serves 2.
