Sour Cream Brittle Bread

  1. Mix yeast in 1 cup warm water and set aside.
  2. Mix honey, 1 cup water and butter or margarine.
  3. Add eggs, saving 1 egg white for later.
  4. Mix in yeast solution.
  5. Place flour in large bowl and form a depression in flour.
  6. Add liquid and mix.
  7. (More flour may be added if needed to get dough texture.)
  8. Let rise in a warm room until double original size.
  9. Dough may be divided into halves or fourths.
  10. Knead dough into a rope shape, then braid or twist dough into loaves and place on baking sheet.
  11. Brush on egg white and sprinkle sesame or poppy seed as desired.
  12. Bake in oven at 375u0b0 for 30 minutes.
