Quatre Epices Salmon
- 1 RawSpiceBar's Quatre Epices
- 4 6-ounce fillets of salmon, skin removed
- 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil or a similar neutral oil
- 1 dash Salt and freshly ground black peppercorns
- 1. Season salmon fillets on both sides with salt and pepper. Press RawSpiceBar's Quatre Epices onto the top of each fillet.
- 2. Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour the oil in the pan and when heated, place the salmon fillets in the skillet, spice-coated side down. Fry for 2-3 minutes, or until the spice mixture forms a nicely browned crust.
- 3. Turn the fillets over and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, or until the salmon resists slightly when pierced with a thin-blade knife. When done, the salmon interior should look opaque, not translucent, when pierced with a sharp knife.
- 4. This makes a satisfying entree for lunch or dinner.
