Marinated Soba Beef Noodles & Tomatos

  1. 1. Slice steak into thin slices. Stir together corn starch, 1 tbsp of oil, water, whiskey, soy sauce, and salt in a large zip top bag. Add steak to the bag, seal and toss well to coat. Marinate in fridge 10 minutes. **If you are in a hurry and don't have time to make the marinade, use Mr. Yoshida's sauce for a similar but not quite as good flavor.

  3. 3. Remove the steak from the bag. You can toss the marinde out. Heat 1 tbp oil in large wok or skillet over med high heat. Add green onions and saute 30 seconds. Add steak and cook 4 minutes or until steak has desired doneness. Remove steak from pan and keep warm. Add chicken broth, sugar and tomatoes to pan and stir well. Cover and reduce heat. Cook for four minutes or until thick. Stir in steak, oyster sauce, and garlic. Cook 5 minutes or until heated through.
