Fried Chicken With Poblano Mashed Potatoes And Chorizo Thyme Gravy

  1. gravy:
  2. saute chorizo & onion in olive oil, add flour and worchestershire, cream milk & simmer until thick. Mix in green onion chilis and thyme, salt & pepper - 2 min.
  3. Chicken:
  4. marrinate in buttermilk 4 hrs or overnight. Dredge in flour, salt & pepper and fry in 1 1/2" oil at 375. turn once, about 8 min.
  5. Potatoes:
  6. heat 1/2 & 1/2 and butter, when melted add to cooked potatoes and mash, stirr in sour cream and chilies.
