Beef Thai Salad

  1. Rub beef with black pepper, pressing it into meat. Grill or broil beef until medium-rare, or pan sear in hot skillet. Cool for 30 minutes. Thinly slice beef across grain.
  2. In large bowl, stir together lime juice, oyster sauce, ginger, sesame oil, sugar and chilies until well combined. Add beef, shallots, scallions, coriander, sesame seeds and mint. Toss well. Add pineapple if using. Refrigerate until cool.
