Pecan Pie From Sally Gray Helvenston

  2. Combine flour, pecans, salt; cut in butter. Sprinkle with brandy and water. Form into a ball; chill 30 minutes before rolling out.

  4. Combine these ingredients; beat at medium speed until blended. Stir in pecan pieces. Pour into pastry. Top with pecan halves (use a circular or spiral pattern for a decorative effect). Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Cover edges with foil if necessary.
