Dan'S Bacon Brussels Sprouts

  1. 1) Heat large skillet over medium-high heat
  2. 2) Add bacon, and saute for 5 minutes or until bacon begins to brown
  3. 3) Remove pan from heat, remove the bacon from the pan, reserving 1 tablespoon drippings (discard the rest)
  4. 4) Return pan to medium-high heat, and stir in bacon, shallot, and Brussels sprouts
  5. 5) Saute 4 minutes or until garlic begins to brown
  6. 6) Add the chicken broth, and bring to a boil
  7. 7) Cook for 2 minutes or until the broth mostly evaporates and the sprout are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally
  8. 8) Remove from heat, and stir in salt and pepper
