Italian Chicken
- 1 pkg. skinless chicken breasts
- 3 jars Prego sauce
- 1 c. cooking wine
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1 large bell pepper, diced
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, diced
- 3 Tbsp. chopped garlic
- 1 Tbsp. Italian herbs
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- Bake chicken breasts in broiler and cover with foil at 325u0b0 until tender.
- Remove and set aside.
- In large pot, saute bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, garlic, Italian herbs and oregano in 1/2 cup of wine and olive oil until tender.
- Add the Prego sauce and other half of wine.
- Cook on low heat for 30 minutes.
- Cook noodles as directed on package.
- Place noodles and chicken breasts and cover with sauce in casserole dish.
- Top with cheese.
- Bake at 325u0b0 for 30 minutes.
