South Western Style Cole Slaw

  1. Mix well all ingredients other than cabbage into a large bowl. Mix cabbage into this mixture with your hands.
  2. Adjust seasoning to taste. (Salt, pepper, sugar)
  3. Mixture should be liquidy enough to coat cabbage evenly without a lot of excess fluid.
  4. Cover tightly and let sit in refrigerator at least 2 hours, but preferably overnight.*
  5. *For best results, let sit 12 to 24 hours so acids break down the cabbage resulting in a softer product.
