Creamy Smoked Salmon Pasta
- 2 packets of Scottish(obviously) smoked salmon
- 1 lemon
- 1 carton of single cream(250ml)
- 1 cup of frozen peas
- small amount of butter or oil
- pasta enough for 4 people (I prefer linginue, but that's just me)
- If the pasta is dry, start to cook it before you styart sauce as this salmon suace takes literally minutes to make!
- Rip up the salmon(or snip with scissors) into little bits. NOT too small though as it will fall apart in the frying pan if too tiny.
- Heat small amount of oil or butter in large frying pan, add salmon. Add fish to pan and flash fry for a couple of minutes until it is pale pink in colour.
- Now add cream and the juice of the lemon. Stir and cook for a minute then add the cup of frozen peas, you want to simply warm these through so that they stay nice and bright green. This takes another minute or two.
- Drain pasta.
- Stir pasta into the sauce.
- Serve.
