Pepper Steak With Rice

  1. Cut beef into 1/4-inch strips.
  2. Sprinkle meat with paprika and brown meat in margarine.
  3. Add garlic and broth.
  4. Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
  5. Stir in onions and green peppers.
  6. Cook 5 minutes more.
  7. Blend cornstarch, soy sauce and water.
  8. Stir into meat mixture.
  9. Cook and stir until thickened.
  10. Add tomatoes and stir gently.
  11. Serve over hot rice.
  12. Yields 6 servings.
