Bestemor'S Macaroni Salad

  1. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water until slightly underdone. Drain in colander and rinse with cold water. Pour can of Peas over macaroni when cooled to drain
  2. Fry bacon until crisp but not overdone and drain on paper towel. When cool cut into small pieces.
  3. Place above in a large bowl and add vegetables and cheese. Season with S and P and add mayonnaise. Add lemon juice to taste if desired. Mix all together, cover and refrigerate to allow flavors to meld and macaroni to absorb moisture.
  4. Enjoy!
