Lasagne
- 3/4 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 lb. sausage
- 1 minced glove garlic
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles
- 2 (12 oz.) cartons large curd cream style cottage cheese
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- Brown hamburger and sausage.
- Add garlic, 1 tablespoon parsley, 1 tablespoon basil, 1 teaspoon salt, tomatoes and tomato paste. Simmer until thick, about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Boil noodles, drain and rinse.
- Combine cottage cheese, eggs, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper, 2 tablespoons parsley flakes and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.
- Place half the noodles in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Add half the cottage cheese mixture, then 1/2 the meat mixture; repeat.
- Top with Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake 30 minutes at 375u0b0.
