German Rutabaga Fritters (Steckrübenpuffer)

  1. 1. Grate rutabaga first, potato second. This is important as potato oxygenates, but you should not allow this.
  2. Sprinkle grated potatoes with lemon juice.
  3. Chop chives and / or parsley green
  4. 2. Mix eggs with flour in a bowl, stir in grated vegetables. Add salt and pepper
  5. 3. Fry small portions in a pan with hot oil
  6. 4. Mix sour cream, mustard and chopped garlic, add salt and pepper to taste.
