Simply Classic Italian Tomato Sauce

  1. Wash the tomatoes well in cold water.
  2. Using a small knife, make a small cut on the top of the tomatoes, and place them in the Lekue steam case along with the red onion (cut into 4 quaters)
  3. Steam the vegetables in the microwave for 2-4 minutes (depending on the wattage of your microwave; I had a 900W microwave_
  4. After steaming the vegetables, set aside to cool for 1 minutes.
  5. Put the cooked vegetables in the Nutribullet RX using the Soup Pitcher.
  6. Season with sea salt, black pepper, basil and olive oil.
  7. Add the chia seeds at the afterwards.
  8. Turn on the Nutribullet RX, and press the button in the middle and it will cook for 7 minutes.
  9. Once cooked, store the sauce in an empty jar.
