Meatballs In Garlic Sauce
- 300g Lamb minced
- 2 tbsp Onion chopped
- 1/2 tsp Garlic chopped
- 1/2 sprig Parsley chopped
- 1/2 sprig Mint chopped
- 1/2 tsp Pepper pwd
- 1/2 tsp Mustard pwd
- 2 Egg yolks
- Oil for frying
- FOR SAUCE
- 2 tbsp Onions chopped
- 2 tbsp Garlic chopped
- 2 tsp Celery chopped
- 1/2 cup Tomato puree
- 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Mix lamb, onions, garlic, parsley and mint.
- Add the seasoning and egg yolks.
- Divide the mixture into small portions and shape into ocktail sized balls.
- Fry well in moderately hot oil.
- Remove and keep aside.
- TO PREPARE THE SAUCE
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add the onions and garlic and aaute for sometime.
- Add celery, tomato puree and tomato ketchup.
- Mix well to form a smooth sauce.
- Toss in the fried meatballs.
- Check the seasoning.
- Remove & serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
