Barbecue Sauce

  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Whisk in water and remaining ingredients. Heat to a boil, stirring constantly. Lower heat and simmer about 30 minutes or until reduced to 3 cups. Can be made up to 5 days ahead of time.
