Lazy Cook Tamales(An Original Recipe)

  1. Stew the chicken until tender.
  2. Remove meat from bones; cut into bite size pieces and set aside.
  3. (You will need a quart and half of chicken broth.)
  4. Pour the fat with broth into a 2-cup measure and reserve (this should be about half or less fat). Simmer together for 20 minutes or more 2 cups chicken broth, the tomato puree, 1 1/2 cups broth or juice and the seasonings.
  5. After simmering period, mix together the flour with enough broth to make a smooth paste.
  6. Stir into sauce, stirring constantly, until sauce is smooth and slightly thick.
  7. Remove from heat.
