Patsy'S Hot Mustard Barbecue Sauce

  1. Place ketchup and both types of mustards (yellow and Dijon) in a medium saucepan.
  2. Add salt, black pepper and sugar; mix well. Add liquid smoke and stir again.
  3. Blend the horseradish and the jalapeno peppers in a blender with the vinegar.
  4. Blend for 1 minute until all ingredients are liquefied, then add to sauce. Squeeze the lemon juice directly into the pan, then add whole lemon to mixture.
  5. Blend well with other ingredients.
