Chicken Green Rice

  1. 1. Heat oil in pot , add onions,cinnamon sticks, bayleaves , curry leaves & fry until onions is slightly brown.
  2. 2. Add ginger & garlic, chicken pieces & salt, simmer for approx. 10 minutes..
  3. 3. Add mint mixture and cover pot.
  4. 4. Add garum masala after 40 minutes of cooking .
  5. 5. Add water if required and let chicken cook until 3 quarter done.
  6. 6. Add fried potatoes and some butter ( 3 tablespoons) & cook for further 10 minutes .
  7. 7. Add soaked rice and cook for 5 minutes on stove .
  8. 8. Leave in the oven at 220 deg. Until rice is cooked.
