Spicy Crunchy Cauliflower
- 1 head of cauliflower
- Batter:
- 1 cup white rice flour
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 "dashes" of Tabasco (or favorite hot sauce)
- Spicy Sauce:
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil or canola oil
- 1/4 cup Tabasco (or favorite hot sauce)
- a pinch of salt
- 1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Break up cauliflower into bite size pieces.
- 2. Mix together the batter ingredients in a small bowl. Dip the cauliflower pieces into batter and coat each piece evenly. Place on a greased cookie sheet. (I used a fork to stab into the cauliflower to roll around and coat)
- 3. Bake for 15 minutes.
- 4. While the cauliflower is baking, mix the spicy sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
- 5. After the cauliflower is pulled out of the oven, spoon or brush the spicy sauce ingredients on the cauliflower pieces. Bake for 5 more minutes.
