Viennese Hazelnut Coins

  1. combine vanilla bean with 1/2 cup powdered sugar in an airtight container. let sit for 24 hours.
  2. preheat oven to 350.
  3. cream butter, sugar till fluffy. beat in vanilla and eggs. add hazelnuts and salt. add flour.
  4. roll marble sized balls on a silpat-lined baking sheet.
  5. bake for 10-15 minutes.
  6. dust with vanilla sugar.
